What Is the Activated Protein C Resistance (APCR) Test?

The Activated Protein C Resistance (APCR) Test is a vital diagnostic tool used to evaluate the risk of thromboembolic disorders, which can lead to serious health complications such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Understanding your risk factors is crucial for preventative health measures.

Who Should Consider This Test?

Individuals who may benefit from the APCR Test include:

  • Those with a family history of thromboembolic disorders.
  • Patients experiencing unexplained blood clots.
  • Individuals who have had recurrent miscarriages.
  • Patients on anticoagulant therapy.

What Does the Test Detect or Measure?
